These empty nesters wanted a design partner who could manage the architectural design, construction/project management and full service interiors for their dream home (which was next door to the house they raised their daughter in)!
Working directly with the client on the architectural plans and exterior, we tweaked the plans to improve details, function, and flow, produced construction documents and drawings for all aspects of construction, oversaw all project management, and designed custom functions and features for every room! Whew!!
A fireplace and built-ins in what was slated to be the dining room, designed a jewelry box of a butlery, added moulding and millwork details in virtually every space, created functional circulation for entertaining, and designed thoughtful/functional cabinetry and custom furniture! We then carefully curated a textured, layered approach to every space from performance upholstery to art and accessories to provide a durable yet relaxed home for our clients, their family and friends.
